    Description

1963 Roger Holiday 8x12 Tom Drum Red Sparkle Cleveland.
This started out as a 1963 Bread and Butter lug drum but the holes were altered ( one per lug) to fit beavertail lug casings. Flat grey paint with a nice Cleveland tag is present. Incorrect lug fasteners for this era I believe but they are Rogers and work well.
The red sparkle wrap is faded on the badge side but it slightly better on the opposite side. Lots of small scratches and light abrasions in the wrap but the wrap is solid to the shell.
One original Tall boy hoop on the reso side and a tall Pearl Super hoop (with a ding) on the batter side.
The collet plate is functional and the collet is a new reproduction and works great.
The tone control is a blank/filler I made from a stripped period correct tone knob that was cut shorter than normal (not by me). It’s secured with a correct exterior washer and newer interior fasteners.
Replacement washers on the tom mount as pictured.
The heads are Remo black dots on both sides.
Tunes fine to my ears (when I had Ambassadors on it) and seems round.
Look at the pics carefully; they should be considered part of the description.
