6 Accessory connectors for EFJ 53xx, 98xx radios, 3 pair.
This is the flat 8-pin connector used for the external speaker and switched hot lead to the radio.  Some radios also have a second one for the Siren function.
Male is the end that usually has a red 'switched hot' wire and a white wire loop for the internal speaker if equipped.  It is a female shell with male pins.
Female is the end that is attached the radio.  It is a male shell with female pins(sockets).  You can can use one of the with a male connector to break out the external speaker audio
in an existing installation without disturbing the original wiring.
You get 6 total connectors, mix/match genders if you wish.  8 pins included for each connector shell.   I will ship 3 pairs unless specified.
Connectors are new, unassembled.  These are the SAME brand/model (JST) connector that EFJ uses.
Have an EFJ 5300 that you'd like to add an external speaker or headphones to...but you don't want to hack up the original cabling?  Or maybe you just want to minimize downtime when adding a speaker?
Here's what you need...make a short M-F breakout cable to go between the factory accessory connectors.  You can add an external speaker without altering the original wiring.   Add a couple resistors (not included) to knock down the audio level and you can have headphones too.  Info will be included with the connectors on request...or see the 5300 installation manual.
