Description

Please note:
I am currently out of stock on right angle type N male connectors. Your set will have only straight type N male connectors on both cables.
My current run of mini-UHF connectors do not have the pointy tip. I flow silver bearing solder into them to make good contact.
They seem to work just fine.
If you are building your own repeater out of Motorola CDM, XPR or other mobile radios, you need these cables to connect your radio to your duplexer.
These are 24 inches long ±2 inches. They are built from high quality RG-142, double shielded, silver plated teflon dielectric cable, the best that money can buy.
Don't scrimp on your interconnects. Using adapters and unknown cables can degrade your system performance by allowing crosstalk, which may show up as desensitization, intermodulation or just excessive noise. I construct these myself, using a variety of quality connectors and cables I have acquired over my years in the broadcast and communication industries. Most of these components were ordered for customers' projects and should be considered new surplus. There are no cutoffs or reused items in my products. This particular lot uses RF Industries connectors and Harbor Industries cable.
I QC each cable for construction defects, mechanical strength, and electrical function. Each cable is tested individually for transmission and reflection. This is the same procedure I use for my own projects, rest assured, you are getting the best product that I can produce. I do not sell or ship junk.
Note: Suitability
for any purpose cannot be guaranteed. These assemblies are designed for connection of receivers and transmitters to a duplexer in a "repeater" application. For indoor use only, not to be exposed to weather, condensing moisture or direct sunlight. Typical power level should not exceed 50 watts. If used at higher power levels, be sure to check cables and connectors for "hot spots". Cable operating temperature should not exceed +125°c. And, if you get anywhere close to 125c, you have bigger problems.
The eBay machine will not let me specify my exact return terms so here they are...
These cables are guaranteed to be free from defects for a period of no more than 90 days from date of acceptance.
They will give you years of trouble free service.
Returns should not be necessary under normal circumstances. If they don't test good in my lab, I discard them. A defective cable will never reach you. If for some reason you feel that one or more of my cables are defective, please return them to me at your shipping expense. I will evaluate and either repair or replace the product if I find it to be defective. I will then ship it back to you at my expense. If failure is determined to be from misuse, mechanical over-stress such as evidence of over flexing, bend radius violation or any other abuse, this offer is null and void. Please don't ship me back a kinked up, abused cable and expect me to fix it for free. Thank you for your understanding.
Alaska and Hawaii will require additional shipping charges.
