Tech-Air® 5 is the latest addition to Alpinestars Tech-Air® family and represents a significant demonstration of Alpinestars commitment to making technology more freely available, as the best possible choice of active airbag protection on the market.
Tech-Air® 5 is a slim, self-contained airbag vest that can be worn under compatible jackets and also under any textile jacket bearing in mind that the jacket must be large enough to accommodate the expansion of the airbag in the event of an accident. For textile jackets this requires an additional 4 cm of space around the body circumference. For riders wishing to wear a leather sports jacket, the Tech-Air® 5 can also be worn with Tech-Air® 5 compatible leather jackets which have integrated leather expansion panels to accommodate airbag inflation.
Tech-Air® 5 offers unrivaled upper body protection for motorcyclists, fully covering their shoulders, chest, ribs and back. Alpinestars Tech-Air® 5 offers the most comprehensive coverage of all airbags currently available.
It features an active electronic system that includes six integrated sensors (3 gyroscopes and 3 accelerometers) and a stop algorithm that uses artificial intelligence to precisely monitor when to deploy the airbag in the event of an accident. Developed over years of research with the best MotoGP riders in the world, analyzing data from millions of kilometers and thousands of accidents to constantly improve the intelligent impact detection algorithm. Upon detection of an accident situation, the airbag deploys in a fraction of time between 20 and 40 ms, providing the driver with unparalleled protection. Impact absorption while wearing the airbag results in a reduction in impact force of up to 93% compared to passive protection. The Tech-Air® 5 airbag system offers the same protection provided by 18 back protectors.
The system is also extremely easy to use, just zip up the vest and close the magnetic flap and you're ready to ride. An LED display indicates the operating status of the airbag and the certified built-in lithium-ion battery lasts for 30 hours of driving. The system is equipped with a magnetic micro USB charger that allows fast charging.
Tech-Air® 5 can take advantage of Bluetooth connectivity and a supplied Tech-Air® app, which uses the pilot's phone to view system operating status, battery status and detailed analysis of a ride; the system firmware can also be updated directly via the app.
RACE Riding Mode:
By updating the app, and with a simple click, it is now possible to switch from street to race mode.

Directions for use:
- There are no switches, the system is activated by closing the zipper and the magnet, so be careful when it is on the crutch or stored in the box that the magnet does not make contact
- Fully charge the system on first use using the supplied micro USB cable (12 hours only the first time), then with 4 hours you will have a full charge which guarantees 30 hours of use. If the time available is limited with one hour of charge, 7/8 hours of use are guaranteed

IMPORTANT
It is absolutely forbidden to return the Products without any external protective packaging.
The customer has the right to withdraw from any order concerning the Products purchased on the website www.rialb.it, without giving any reasons and with any declaration, provided it is explicit, delivered to RIALB SRL.
INFORMATION REGARDING THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL (pursuant to art. 49, paragraph 1, lett. (h) of the Legislative Decree n. 206/2005 "Consumer Code")
The customer has the right to withdraw from the contract, without giving any reason, within 14 calendar days. The withdrawal period expires after 14 days from the day on which the customer or a third party, other than the carrier and designated by the customer, acquires physical possession of the ordered goods. In the event of a contract relating to multiple goods ordered by the customer in a single order and delivered separately, the 14-day term starts from the day on which the customer or a third party, other than the carrier designated by the latter, acquires physical possession of the last good.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, it is necessary to inform RIALB SRL of the decision to withdraw from this contract through any explicit declaration to that effect (for example, with a letter sent by post or e-mail).
EFFECTS OF WITHDRAWAL
Following the withdrawal from this contract, RIALB SRL will reimburse all payments made by the buyer, with the exception of delivery costs and any other additional costs deriving from the choice of a type of delivery other than the standard one offered by RIALB SRL itself, without undue delay and in any case no later than 14 days from which RIALB SRL is informed by the customer of the decision to exercise the right of withdrawal. These refunds will be made using the same payment instrument used by the customer during the purchase, unless otherwise agreed.
The customer is required to return or deliver the products without undue delay and in any case within 14 days from the day on which he communicated his intention to withdraw from the sales contract.
The Products must be returned - properly packaged in their original packaging, not damaged, damaged or soiled and equipped with any accessories, instructions for use and documentation; - provided with the receipt or invoice (present in the original packaging), in order to allow RIALB SRL to identify the customer - without obvious signs of use, except those compatible with carrying out a normal test of the item (they must not bear traces of prolonged use or in any case exceeding the time necessary for a test and must not have been such as not to allow resale).
If the returned product does not comply with the previous paragraph, the withdrawal will not be effective. The costs of returning the goods are charged to the customer and the latter is responsible for any decrease in the value of the goods resulting from the handling of the goods other than that necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the products themselves.
RIALB SRL ships with SDA and GLS Express Couriers from Monday to Friday, in about 48/72 hours from the order confirmation (even if the goods are often delivered in the first 24/48 hours). Only on some items delivery times may be longer, but still reported in the product sheet.
WARNINGS
RIALB SRL is keen to remember that, upon delivery, it is always important to check:
- that the number of packages corresponds to that indicated in the tax document that accompanies them;
- that the goods correspond to what is actually indicated in the transport document (DDT) where requested;
- that the packaging is intact and undamaged, even in the materials / sealing seals (adhesive tape, straps ...).
Any damage or mismatch in the number of packages must be immediately reported to the Courier making the delivery, adding the words "withdrawal with reserve due to lack and / or damage of n ° ... parcels "on the appropriate fiscal document and confirmed by e-mail to RIALB SRL within 7 (seven) calendar days. Even if the packaging is intact, the goods must be checked and any hidden damage must be reported to RIALB SRL within 7 (seven) calendar days.
Any report beyond the aforementioned terms and / or by means other than those described above will not be taken into consideration.
Once the receipt has been signed to the Courier, it will no longer be possible to dispute the external characteristics of what was delivered or the number of packages received.

ELECTRONIC INVOICES
For purchases with a VAT number, the request for an electronic invoice must be sent during the payment phase by entering the data necessary for billing in the notes to the seller or at the same time as the order via Ebay messaging, or in the payment notes via PavPal: VAT number and / or tax code, SDI unique code, PEC address.
