Recently acquired the unit at estate sale.  The tool is in good, original, cosmetic condition, showing surface wear consistent with age and use (scratches, etc.)  The cord and plug are in good shape.
When plugged in, the thin metal piece in front becomes extremely hot (and bright red in color)  We assume that is what is supposed to happen, however we are NOT familiar with the item.  It is being sold AS IS with NO returns.  Should the unit need any parts or repairs the buyer will be responsible.
